Welcome to Jackson, Wyoming, an authentic western town that is a launching point for two of the most unique national parks tours in the world, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park wildlife tours.If you are a group of two please contact me for a quotation. For larger groups than four people, we can create a custom tour.

We have changed our policy this summer and can individualize the pick-up location if it is at an RV park or other locations outside of Jackson such as West Yellowstone or Colter Bay.

My passion for this park will help you see within this special mountain environment.

With our premium optics and large windowed sightseeing van, we will set off to explore some of the lesser-visited gems of this park. We will immerse ourselves in nature by not just searching for wildlife, but by taking the time to absorb the sights, sounds, smells, and interactions of the entire ecosystem.

Grand Teton is also rich in western homestead history. Within the wildlife tour, we will visit some preserved historical homesteads that were influential in the park’s founding.

ITINERARY

The itinerary is always flexible depending on weather and the starting point of the tour within the valley.

Generally, it will flow like this:

*Pick-up based on guests’ needs.
*Enter the national park, looking for wildlife via Teton Village Road.
*Visit several under the radar wildlife hot spots and historic homestead sites.
*Picnic lunch at String Lake under the mountains
*Explore the outer park loop highlights heading north
*Enter the inner loop road in Moran
*Visit northern end highlights
*Enjoy the inner loop highlights heading south
*Return to Jackson

MEETING POINT + TOUR DURATION

Meeting Point Options: Hotel, Address or Intersection

Duration: 8 hours 30 min.

A typical tour lasts around eight to nine hours. Unforeseen circumstances such as traffic can lengthen tour time.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation will be in a 2017 Ford Transit raised roof van or a 2013 Toyota Sienna seven passenger van, based on group size and scheduling.
The Transit can seat up to 11 and the Sienna 5.

Other: This tour is an amazing value! Included is transportation in a large sightseeing van, use of professional binoculars, spotting scope and field guides. A gourmet picnic lunch and all-natural snacks throughout the day are also part of the trip.
